- Formulate and implement marketing strategies aligned with the Bank’s and department’s business development roadmap. Foster long-term partnerships with key Financial Institution clients, leverage in-depth industry and market insights to prudently acquire new FI clients, initiate client credit rating assessments, and draft credit appraisal reports. - Undertake anti-money laundering (AML) obligations. Consistently enforce Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) protocols, and file Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) immediately upon detection of suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with product teams to promptly escalate client demands to relevant business lines, and jointly advance product promotion, develop and customized solutions.
- Collect intelligence on industry trends, market conditions, peer institutions’ operations and material corporate changes to support senior management decision-making. Distribute market insights to relevant business units to facilitate timely implementation of analysis-backed recommendations.
- Represent the Bank at events hosted by external institutions and industry associations, market the Bank’s full range of financial products and strengthen the Bank’s brand reputation locally.
- Fully comply with all applicable laws, regulatory rules and supervisory circulars, as well as the Bank’s internal policies, risk management frameworks, operational procedures and other regulations. Identify, evaluate and mitigate existing and potential operational risks, design, implement and follow up on corrective remediation plans as required.
- Set annual performance targets for direct reports, conduct ongoing performance tracking, regular progress reviews and recalibration.
