Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for Australian clients
Perform bookkeeping and bank or credit card reconciliations using MYOB and Xero
Review and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, superannuation and GST accounts
Prepare and maintain financial records and reconciliations
Assist with Australian tax compliance, ATO correspondence
Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, financial statements, and management reports
Assist Australian accountants with tax and accounting-related tasks
Review financial information and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions
Communicate with the Australian team regarding client matters and outstanding information
Maintain accurate workpapers and supporting documentation and confidential client records
Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Assist with other accounting and financial management tasks as required
