● Own full test cycles for assigned tickets — from first functional testing through to final release verification
● Execute thorough functional and exploratory testing on new features, not just checklist execution
● Write clear, reproducible bug reports with detailed steps, environment context, and supporting evidence
● Work closely with developers and PMs to verify fixes and re-test quickly when issues are found
● Help build and maintain lightweight regression and smoke test coverage over time
● Use AI-assisted testing tools where they help speed up repetitive checks, without losing rigor on judgment-
heavy testing
● Keep ticket status, comments, and test results clearly documented in our project tracker
Your Skills and Experience

● 3–4 years of manual/functional QA experience on a web SaaS product preferred — candidates outside this
range with strong, relevant experience are still encouraged to apply
● Comfortable owning the same ticket through multiple environments and multiple test/retest cycles — not
siloed to a single stage
● Strong written communication — clear bug reports that a developer can act on without back-and-forth
● Solid exploratory testing instincts — you notice when something is technically working but still wrong
● Experience using a project/issue tracker such as ClickUp or Jira
● A detail-oriented, independent working style — you don't need heavy hand-holding to figure out what to test
Nice to Have
● Working knowledge of a test automation tool (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
● Comfortable working alongside AI-assisted testing tools, or curious to learn
● Experience testing data-heavy or dashboard/analytics-style features
